Flying Horse Farms is a magical, transformative camp where, for a week at a time, being sick takes a backseat to being a kid.

Located in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, the camp first opened its gates in 2010 and hosts about 900 children and families each year -- entirely free of charge, due to the generosity of big and small donations from people like you.

Flying Horse Farms is the first camp in the Midwest to become a full member of the SeriousFun Children’s Network. Founded in 1988 by actor, philanthropist, and Ohio native Paul Newman, the Network is a community of independently managed and financed camps and programs creating opportunities for children with serious illnesses and their families.

Hospitalized children need and deserve the daily security and support of their parents. Meanwhile, families from all over the Midwest and beyond benefit from Nationwide Children's Hospital's world-class care.

Thankfully, the Ronald McDonald House gives families a comfortable, safe, clean, and accommodating home-away-from-home right across the street, granting them a bit of stability and togetherness in the midst of the most challenging circumstances. Open 365 days a year, moms, dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents, and extended family call The Columbus Ronald McDonald House "home" for as long as their child is receiving treatment.
